Our MissionThe Region V Community Development Corporation has a principle purpose of planning, developing, owning, and managing affordable housing projects in Southeastern North Dakota. These projects benefit lower income households, which are households with an annual income that does not exceed 80% of the county median income level.
Company ProfileThe Region V Community Development Corporation (RVCDC) was established in 1995 as a charitable non-profit to the SouthEastern North Dakota Community Action Agency (SENDCAA). The RVCDC is a qualified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), as defined by the US Congress under the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, in order to receive HOME funding in support of affordable housing projects. The State of North Dakota has designated the RVCDC as the CHDO for the six counties of Cass, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele, and Traill in Southeastern North Dakota. Our corporation has participated in various training courses that addressed affordable housing development, market studies, rehabilitation, new construction, and property management.
